Raiding Rules

These are the raiding rules which you as a member have to agree to in order to raid with Gifted & Talented. If you don't agree with our rules; you can leave.

  1. Be prepared for raids. This means:
    • You will be properly geared.
    • You will be on time (10 minutes before start time, unless discussed with an officer).
    • Your gear will be enchanted and fully gemed (Check out http://be.imba.hu/ or http://www.wow-heroes.com/ for help on what you are missing and what you are geared for).
  1. If you sign up for a raid as "signed up" this means that you definitely will come to the raid. Sign up as "tentative" if you are unsure. If you sign up as "signed up" and aren't on-line for the raid you will not receive any loot for 2 weeks.
  2. Raid officers run the raids. They have the final say on how anything happens during the raid.
  3. Everyone must have Ventrillo, DBM, EPGP Lootmaster,  and a threat meter installed (use Omen or similar). Get a mic otherwise you won't be able to communicate in Ventrillo.
  4. If you sign up for a raid you have not yet been to, please look up the boss encounters on www.bosskillers.com or www.tankspot.com.
  5. If more people sign up for a raid than there are places then the raid officers will decide who comes. This is so that we always have some experienced raiders in our raids.
  6. If you are not chosen for a raid and are ready; you may choose to be on "standbye" for that raid. As a standbye you are expected to be on vent during the raid so that we can call you in at any time.
  7. Your talents must be PVE and NOT PVP and please try to gear more PVE too. The odd minor PVP item is fine (i.e. one of: neck cloak or ring).
  8. No looting during boss fights. All gear will be looted by the loot master and distributed at an appropriate time.
  9. All Epics and Rare items will be either disenchanted or sold and put into the guild bank if nobody in the group needs them.
  10. Don't pug raids we are doing in guild. These raids are "locked" until they have been done in guild. i.e. if you couldn't make the guild run of a raid you can pug it after the guild has run it.
  11. You must focus on gearing your main(raiding) character. i.e. don't spend the whole day playing your alts and expect to be geared exclusively by items in the raid.
  12. If an officer tells you that your gear is incorrectly gemmed, enchanted or wrong in any other respect, don't argue with them. We are here to help and it's in everyone's interest, as it will help prevent wipes in raids.
  13. New members will not be able to need on loot for the first 14 days in the guild (please note that this doesn't mean u will receive no gear it just means that you won't be able to 'need' on any gear that drops).
  14. You must sign up on the Guild Site and accept these rules in order to be allowed to raid.
  15. All Raids will be signed up for on the in-game callender.
  16. If you come to a raid without having prepared as explained in these rules you will not be allowed to raid. We would rather pug someone who is prepared than take some one who couldn't care less.
  17. If you fail to comply with any of the above rules you will receive a warning. Three warnings, and you will be kicked from the guild.
